Welcome To The 2012-2013 Season
Submitted By Daniel Wood-Salomon on Tuesday, September 11, 2012
Hello everyone on behalf of the Sault Ringette Club I would like to welcome back all of our returning players and families and welcome all of our new players and families.  We are hoping you have had a wonderful summer break and share our enthusiasm as we embark on our journey together towards a rewarding and successful year.

As with any non-profit sports organization we depend on our Volunteers to run.  This summer there has been a strong core group of volunteers working behind the scenes to make this 2012-2013 year a success and I would like to thank them very much for their dedication and time.  As this season progresses we are going to need more volunteers to help out .

2013 is the fiftieth year anniversary of Ringette so in celebration we are offering our Bunny program free to girls.  We will also be holding other special events to celebrate this exciting time so please watch for them.

This year we are also very lucky to have a new website.  This website has many exciting new features and tools.  I would like to extend our thanks to Don Bruni and MicroAge for generously sponsoring this site for us.

I would also like to remind all parents that every first Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM we have an open section of Board of Directors and Coaches meeting that all are welcome and encouraged to attend.  At these meetings there will be communication updates on what is going on in our league as well as updates on pertaining to the Sault Ringette Club in general.

In closing we would like you to visit our website often as it is our main means of communicating.  Please tell all your friends about the sport of Ringette, let them know how much fun it is to play the fastest sport on ice and that they are welcome to and encouraged to join the Sault  Ringette Family.  Have a safe and fun season.

Daniel Wood-Salomon
