ABC Program for the Bunnies
Submitted By Daniel Wood-Salomon on Monday, October 22, 2012
This year the Sault Ringette Club is
happy to be implementing the ABC program
from Ringette Canada. The
focus of this program is on the development of agility, balance and
coordination (the ABC’s). Basic ringette skills such as skating, passing,
receiving, shooting and general knowledge are also introduced and developed. It
is important to develop each of these skills over the course of the season.
As the players develop and gain skills we will have bandana nights where the players will be given various coloured bandanas as they progress through the ABC program and gain the skills and knowledge for the various bandana colours.
Next week Sunday October 28th the bunnies will be at the John Rhodes Pad 2 at 6:30 PM, after the ice time we will be holding our first Bandana night upstairs at the Rhodes. This first bandana night will be for the RED Bandana and along with the Red Bandana we will be having a pirate theme treat night. If you have any questions please feel free to contact any member of the Executive or your Coaches.
