Sault Ice Hawks U16 Team Captures Gold In Sudbury

The Sault Ice Hawks U16 Tournament Team captured gold at the Sudbury Ringette Association’s Annual Ringette Tournament held in Sudbury this past weekend.

The Ice Hawks ran off five straight victories on their way to capturing gold. In round robin play, the Ice Hawks defeated Timmins 7-2, Sunderland 7- 4, Sudbury 8-1, and Walden 7-0.

In the Championship game, the Ice Hawks defeated Sunderland 8 -4.


Team members include: Gavin Bell, Kaylin Paquette, Faye Crozier, Caitlyn Rogozynski, Kelsey O’Donnell, Kaitlyn Desgagne, Emily Giagvanoli, Katie Higgs, Krista Maeumbaed, Rachel Maniaco, Emilya Junor, Avery See, Taylor Elliott, and Natalie Reed.


The coaching staff includes: Debbie Desgagne, Bill Maniaco, Rhonda Bateman, and Steve Bell.
