Hi Everyone!
Submitted By Maggie Kirkwood on Tuesday, April 9, 2013
It's hard for me to believe that I will be flying to Halifax  this Thursday and that I will have the chance to be playing for Team Ontario in the Eastern Canadian Ringette Championships.  That's me third from the right in the front row of the picture and I am so excited to be on the team.  I know - its crazy that I'm getting on an airplane to go to a ringette tournament! and that I will be playing against the top players from other provinces in a national tournament!!

I just want everyone back home to know that I would never have this fantastic opportunity if it wasn't for all the coaching and support that I received while I was playing ringette in the Sault and that I will never forget my roots - thank-you.

I want to see everyone when I get home from University this summer and hopefully I can get out for a skate with some of you!

Best Wishes and Go Icehawks!!!
