U10 Sault Ice Hawks bring home a Silver Heart
Submitted By Rebecca Young on Tuesday, February 17, 2015
Our U10 team participated in the Ayr Tournament of Hearts this past weekend.

Every game played, win or lose, the girls played hard every shift up until the final buzzer.  They were 2-1 in the round robin against Guelph and Ayr and then went on to play Guelph in the finals.

After an exciting hard fought game where the girls played their best game of the season so far, our Ice Hawks fell to a very talented Guelph team.   We received a Silver medal and could not be more proud! The U10 Ice Hawks also won their division's banner competition.

It was a successful weekend all around.  Not only did they play hard, but they had alot of fun!!

Our team roster:  Lilianna Sawchyn, Emma Malone, Mackenzie King, Meadow Rankin, Alyssa Paquin, Sarah Kresin, Crystalyn Sewell, Taylor King, Kaylee Seabrook, Elexi Frigon, Alexa Young, Morgan Smith, Audrey Vanbuskirk, Meaghan Rosso, Morgan Hammond, and Delaney Elliot
