U12 Provincial Tournament Chair

Are you organized and have excellent communication skills? The Sault Ringette Club will be hosting the 2020 U12 Provincial Tournament from April 1-5, so we're looking for someone to help put together a successful event!Hosting the Provincial Event is a great opportunity to continue the Club's push to increase its relevance in the community and to reinforce to Ontario Ringette and its member clubs that SRC is a capable and competitive club.Once a host club has been identified by ORA, excellent resources are provided that clearly identify the responsibilities of the host club. Putting together a successful event requires the coordinated help from many. As such, we are seeking expressions of interest for the position of Tournament Chair/Co-Chairs!

Responsibilities include:
✔️ Schedule and convene Tournament Committee meetings (at least monthly)
✔️ Help establish and oversee the activities of the Tournament Committee (Operations, Hospitality, Technical, Finance)
✔️ Liaise with Ontario Ringette

We're hoping to have the U12 Provincial Tournament Chair/Co-Chairs in place no later than June 19, 2019.

The expression of interest must include your full name and contact information, summary of any relevant skills and/or past experience in related positions, a brief description on how you envision carrying out the requirements of the position, and acknowledgement that you will be committed to this position for a period of time ending approximately four weeks following the event.
