North East Elite U14AA and U16AA Development Camps

The North East Ringette Association will be hosting U14AA and U16AA development camps for the 2019-2020 season. The purpose of this program is to expose players to an elite level of play, promoting skill development and team bonding in a manner as cost efficient as possible.




Participants are encouraged to stay overnight Saturday as a group. The AA coaches and coordinators have secured facilities for all participants and there is no additional cost to participants. The participants are supervised by coaches and team staff. Overnight players are supervised full time by female parents or bench staff.

The cost of each camp is $95.00 or $270 for all three camps.

Camps will consist of approximately 6 hours of ice time plus some dry land training.

Meal Plan - in order to keep costs down all parents will be asked to purchase certain foods and meals are coordinated as potluck style, the cost is usually 20-30 dollars per player for the weekend and parents are welcome to all meals.

Players must be age appropriate for their group as per ORA Regulations. Once numbers are established U12 PP players in their final year may be invited to attend U14AA camps with-in their local association for exposure but they will not take part in the overnight stays.

U19 aged players are welcome to participate at the U16 AA camps.

Once all 3 camps are complete a team will then be selected to participate in 1 or 2 AA tournaments.. Tournament selections will be communicated by coaching staff.

All players interested in attending the first AA development camp in Sault St Marie. Please register with the appropriate age group as soon as possible, preferably by the 29th of July.This will give the camp organizers time to plan for meals and activities etc.
