Nominations Open for the 2025 Bill Claringbold Award
The Sault Ringette Club is now accepting nominations for the esteemed Bill Claringbold Volunteer Award. This annual accolade honours a member of our community who exemplifies outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication to the sport of ringette.
About Bill Claringbold
Bill Claringbold was a foundational figure in the Sault Ringette Club, dedicating countless hours to coaching, mentoring, and promoting the sport within our community. His passion for ringette and commitment to fostering sportsmanship and teamwork have left an indelible mark on our organization. In his honour, this award celebrates those who continue his legacy of volunteerism and leadership.
Nomination Criteria
We encourage members of our local ringette community to submit written nominations for individuals who:
- Exhibit excellent rapport with players, parents, coaches, and referees.
- Contribute significantly to the development of ringette within the community.
- Embody the philosophy of fair play, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Have not received this award in the past three years.
Nomination Process
To nominate a deserving individual, please complete the Bill Claringbold Volunteer Award Nomination Form.
The deadline for submissions is March 18, 2025. Our executive committee will review all nominations during that week's meeting to select the award recipient which will be announced at the 2025 Sault Ringette Club year end banquet.
