Come Try Ringette - A Fun, Fast-Paced Canadian Sport!

Are you new to Sault Ste. Marie, new to winter activities or want to try something new?

Join us for a free Come Try Ringette event on Sunday, April 6, and experience this uniquely Canadian ice sport!

When: Sunday, April 6, 3-5 p.m.

Where: Northern Community Centre, Rink 2 (556 Goulais Ave.)

Who: Girls ages 4+ new to sport or winter activities

Registration is required in advance.

What is required? Participants need skates, a helmet and warm gloves... we'll provide the rest!

Check-in begins at 3 p.m. followed by an introduction and snack/activities for participants. On ice begins at 4pm

On-ice volunteers will be available to help teach the basic skills of ringette, such as skating, passing, receiving the ring, and shooting.
