Sault U14A Ice Hawks Gear Up for Ranking Tournament in Whitby!

The Sault Ringette Club's U14A Ice Hawks are heading to their first ranking tournament of the 2024-2025 season! The tournament will take place in Whitby, Ontario, from January 3 to January 5, 2025.

This tournament is especially important as our club will proudly host the Provincial A Championships in Sault Ste. Marie from March 14-16, 2025. This is an incredible opportunity to showcase our players, club, and city to teams across the province.

Led by head coach Chelsea Clingen and supported by assistant coaches Curt O'Neil, Zoey Campbell, Brad Nowitski, and trainer Brigitte Vaughan, the U14A team is eager to kick off the new year with a strong performance. This group of talented young athletes has been working hard in preparation for this tournament, representing one of the six Ice Hawks teams from the Sault Ringette Club—and the only one competing in this event.

The Ice Hawks’ schedule for the tournament is as follows:

• Friday, January 3
• 10:15 AM - Timmins @ Sault Ice Hawks (Iroquois Park - 2)
• 6:15 PM - Sault Ice Hawks @ Forest (Iroquois Park - 6)
• Saturday, January 4
• 8:15 AM - Sunderland @ Sault Ice Hawks (Iroquois Park - 2)
• 3:45 PM - Sault Ice Hawks @ Richmond Hill (Iroquois Park - 2)

Final games for the tournament will be held on Sunday, January 5, with details to be determined based on team standings.
