From Paris with Love: Sault Ice Hawks Celebrate Valentine's Day at the Rink
This Valentine's Day, the Sault Ringette Club's Ice Hawks are trading roses for rings as they head to Paris, Ontario, for the final tournament (before Championships) of the 2024-2025 season. All six of our teams—U10, U12A, U12B, U14A, U14B, and U16B divisions—will be representing the Sault in Paris.
This tournament is a qualifying tournament for our U14A team for the Ringette Ontario ‘A’ Provincial Championships, which will be hosted in Sault Ste. Marie from March 13-16, 2025. This tournament also marks the last stop for our other teams that are headed to North Bay for the Northeast Regional Ringette Championships and the U12 Championships in Markham later next month.
As our players lace up their skates and hit the ice, we can't help but smile at the coincidence of celebrating Valentine's Day in Paris. While the Eiffel Tower and warmer weather may be thousands of kilometers away, the love and passion for ringette are alive and well in our hearts.
We would like to take a moment to thank all the coaches, trainers, and managers for their unwavering support throughout the season. And to the parents for shuttling players to all of the extra practices and tournaments—your dedication is invaluable!
We invite families and friends to follow along as our teams compete. Stay tuned to our social media channels for updates, scores, and highlights throughout the tournament.
Let’s go Ice Hawks!
