Celebrating Excellence at the 2024-2025 Sault Ringette Club Awards Banquet

This week, the Sault Ringette Club celebrated two special banquets to recognize our players, teams, and sponsors.  These banquets spotlight incredible achievements, sportsmanship, and dedication within our house league program.

Division Sponsors - The Pillars of Our House League Program

Each division in our house league is supported by local sponsors who ensure our players have the resources and support they need to play. We are deeply grateful to these community-minded businesses:

  • Fun 1 & Fun 2 - Tim Horton’s
  • Fun 3 Division - Canal District, Zalewski Concrete, Eye Deal Optical, Pinder Construction
  • U12 Division - Classic Auto, Pinder Construction, Lakeshore Kiwanis
  • U14 Division - Eye Deal Optical, Floreani, O'Toole and Dool, BuiltWright Construction
  • U16/U19 Division - Arthurs, Angels

The Bill Claringbold Volunteer Award

Named in honor of a foundational figure in the Sault Ringette Club, the Bill Claringbold Volunteer Award recognizes a member whose dedication, mentorship, and community involvement truly stand out.

This year, we are proud to present the award to Callaway Stewart.

Callaway has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership as a player, referee, coach, and power skating instructor. Whether running tryouts, assisting at summer camps, officiating regional tournaments, or leading U14 house league teams, her impact is felt across every corner of our club.

She is a mentor to younger players and a bridge between coaches, teammates, and parents, known for her positive attitude, tireless effort, and commitment to growing the sport. Callaway's influence extends well beyond the rink from “Come Try Ringette” to community outreach at Rotary Fest and the Downtown Street Party.
