Join Our Team - Sault Ringette Club Board of Directors

The Sault Ringette Club is looking for passionate, committed volunteers to join our Board of Directors. This is a great opportunity to get involved in shaping the future of our club, supporting players, and helping grow the sport of ringette in our community.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

 HR Officer

As HR Officer, you will:

• Recruit and engage volunteers to support club activities
• Support the SRC Executive on HR-related matters

The HR Officer will be supported by the Board and will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. The ideal candidate values confidentiality, enjoys supporting others, and has experience with conflict resolution.  The HR Officer is encouraged to attend bi-weekly Board meetings.

 Ice Hawks Coordinator

As Ice Hawks Coordinator, you will:

• Support team managers with their responsibilities
• Assist with booking team hotels
• Support rep team parents and coaches while addressing concerns

 This role is well supported by the Board and the past Ice Hawks Coordinator is available to train. If you are familiar with team management or interested in learning, this is a great way to contribute to the success of our competitive program. 

 Events & Awards Coordinator

As Events & Awards Coordinator, you will:

Lead a planning committee to organize key SRC events such as:

• Come Try Ringette
• Annual Awards Banquet
• SRC Snowflake Tournament
• RotaryFest & Street Parties

The Events Coordinator will work closely with the SRC Executive to bring our events to life and celebrate the achievements of our players and volunteers.   There is currently a committee in place of 4-6 volunteers (and we can always use more); the Coordinator will lead the volunteers to plan events.
