This past weekend, six Sault Ringette Club teams hit the ice at the Greater Sudbury Ringette Tournament, and wow, did we ever make our mark! Our players competed with heart, hustle, and true Ice Hawk spirit. By the end of the weekend, our club brought home four medals and a third-place finish, proving once again that hard work, teamwork, and determination define our athletes.
Our youngest Ice Hawks brought unstoppable enthusiasm and fearless energy to every game. Their teamwork, positivity, and never-quit attitudes lit up the rink all weekend long. Congratulations, U10, on your well-deserved gold medal!

The U12A squad battled hard all weekend and earned their spot in the championship final. Their performance showcased the commitment they bring to every practice and game. Despite a tough loss in the finals, they skated away with their heads high and a well-earned silver medal. Outstanding job, U12A!

The U12B Ice Hawks came out flying and showed determination in every shift. Their growth, grit, and steady improvement were evident from start to finish. Each player should be incredibly proud of their effort—we know we are!
High intensity and fast-paced action defined the U14A team’s weekend. After a tough first game, they came roaring back, pushing through the semifinals and earning their place in the gold medal match—where they finished on top! Congratulations on bringing home the gold, U14A!

The U14B team delivered strong performances game after game, showing clear improvement and confidence throughout the tournament. With a bye straight to the finals, they rose to the occasion and captured the gold medal. Way to go, U14B!

Our U19B athletes showcased grit, poise, and leadership all weekend long. They faced strong competition and responded with smart plays and relentless effort. Congratulations on a hard-fought semifinal finish, U19B!
As a club, we could not be more proud of our players for giving their all, playing their best, and representing the Sault with pride and dedication. A heartfelt thank-you goes out to our parents for their unwavering support, positivity, and commitment throughout the tournament. And of course, our deepest appreciation to our coaches and bench staff, who volunteer their time, energy, and expertise to help our athletes grow both on and off the ice.
